Teamspeak - One of several popular clients to use your broadband connection to talk to others in real time. Much like a telephone, only you can talk to a group of people simultaneously. Teamspeak costs nothing to install or use, but you will need sound on your computer, and a microphone if you want to talk as well.
Step 1 - download the client from the download page or this link below
Step 2 - run the client and plug in the information for my server (on 24/7). Password is Booba. Don't ask.

You should then see the following window - if you are alone that's ok, it just makes for light conversation

Step 3 - Configure your sound under the Settings menu

Voice activation is just like your phone with a very short delay. You talk, it transmits.
Push to talk is best if you breath heavy or there is a lot of background noise. This is more like a radio - in this mode, the microphone only goes hot when you press a certain key. You can choose that key, or even a mouse button, by hitting the Set button next to the push to talk option. There is no "save", just close the box when you are done. That's it. Joe and I are usually on around 8:30pm CST.
